Just wondering if anyone else has heard that Pound may not have enough kids to field a team. Like to hear if anyone else has heard or has info on this.
Ervinton should be in a little better shape than usual I believe. I think they have quite a few freshman coming out.

You always have to play more freshmen than you want to at Pound.
I still talk to a few of the players and they say that there are not as many players that have come out as in the past couple of years but there should be around 23-25 when all is said and done.
Ask me how many will be there clintwood week. We had, at maximum, 13 players show up that week each of the last three years. I called it "greenwave fever."
I don't think they will have to play more than 2 or 3 freshmen though.
Gaby was tough. His last name is Bowen I believe. Hes not as big as Gaby (at least as I remember him), but the kid is like a rock. Been lifting weights hard since the 7th grade and pretty quick as well. Getting popped by some big varsity kids might be an eye opener, but, he is going to be a solid ball player I do believe, and should be really good in the next couple of years.

As I'm one of the worlds worst on remembering, well much of anything anymore, I can't remember the kids name but have heard people discussing him a few years. Kept hearing that he would transfer to Clintwood so kept my ears semi-open. Most well talked about kid as far as work ethic and potential ability I've heard in a bit. Will be interesting to see how he handles the situation as Ervinton. He'll definitely have chances but he'll also be hit and hit and hit again.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
Those in Nora have been worried about him leaving for Haysi or Clintwood as well but so far he has been pretty committed to the Rebels.
